Welcome to the end of the work week... where I shower you with my 5 favorite items in my 5 favorite categories. I'm sure, like me- you had trouble falling asleep last night because you were so excited about my picks for today. I don't blame you... I'm really coming in to the zone with FFF- tell a friend (or 100?) will ya?! Last week let's just say ROSS started running a commercial featuring the exact black and white striped jeans I posted about for FFF. Coincidence? Ya right ROSS.
Now let's get this round up started! Shall we?

1.) Party Planning
"Another all black item?!" I know what you're thinking... that I've gone like totally chic on you. Don't worry... I still live for color! But this cake plate by H&M Home is $9.95 and I also live for a great deal! I am contemplating buying a few white ones (they come in black and white) and spray painting the heck out of them so I can have 3 or 4 great colors to choose from. I mean, at $10 a pop... a rainbow of them sounds about right?
2.) Home Decor
I came across this line of kitchen appliances ($35-$75) at Target yesterday (prints by French Bull) and I found myself doing the, "NO! NOOOO!" thing right in front of them mid-isle. "NOOO!" in case you didn't know is very much, "YESSS!" Duh. I mean, prints on kitchen appliances! And not just any print- French Bull prints! Sheer brilliance. I don't know why these couldn't have been out when I got married so I could have registered for 2 of them each- so I'd always have them. Not like I spend much time in the kitchen... but these could totally change that... Oh, who are we kidding...
3.) Kids
I normally don't like to put crazy expensive things in this line up- because I want everything to be something I'd be able to afford on any given day... but here's one exception: The Balance Bike (ours was by Strider, about $80). Our friends gave one to Cormac when he was a newly turned 3 year old and he road the thing religiously until he was 3.5 when one day he hopped on a 2 wheel bike and road it like it was magic. His Strider bike even made an appearance last year as part of his Halloween costume as Evil Knievel. I think these little bikes serve a great purpose and with Christmas coming... something to consider...
4.) Myself
I love super quirky things, especially in fashion. When I saw this muscle tee at Forever 21 for $13.80 (who cares if it falls apart after 5 washes!) it screamed Kenna. Well it actually screamed French Fries... but if you know how much I love french fries then you'd also have heard my name in there too... Even though I'm trying to not be a "jeans and tees" girl- this tee is the exception to the rule! Imagine this with my b/w striped pants from last post... and my new combat boots! Gosh I'm so cool... in theory...
Rayon Blazer: Ross $12.99
5.) Husband
The husband is hard on shoes. I buy them and 3 days later they look 5 years old. Blame the skateboarding, the actual scuffing them up to make them look old, the working under the car... Somehow he goes through Vans like a toddler outgrows them. That doesn't mean I give up on searching for new, cool ones though- and let me tell you, Vans never disappoints. They currently have a killer selection of prints, these being my fave.Catch ya next week & Happy Shopping this weekend! If you see something great, let me know- who knows, it might make a FFF appearance...
h&m HOME?!?! when did this become a thing and how did i not know about it until right now?
ReplyDeleteI know... it's crazy. It's been in the works a while and then I was on their site about a month ago and noticed it had launched. I think they're only in a few of the big stores and the rest is online... Stoked to see H&M online at all though!
DeleteVictoria I was coming to comment to write that EXACT thing! I feel so behind the times. I also didn't know online was happening either. I swear I used to be up on these things!
DeleteYes I know- happy day! I only want to redecorate both the kids rooms now...
DeleteUmmmm I think I am in love with the toaster. And at our chinzy local Target? Wowza!
ReplyDeleteYes, right at our very own mini-Target! Where they also have the ruffle curtains from last weeks FFF for $5.00 (I've learned we're the only ones!)
Deleteyeah, ruffle curtains were on sale for $15.90 out here…should have grabbed some of the $5 ones before I left!!
DeleteErmigah! H&M Home......I hear the sound of angels singing....
ReplyDeleteI know, right!? Check out their curtains too (great back drops!)
DeleteSo I'm a bit late getting to my bloglovin' feed, but just noticed... you finally got your hair changed in the drawing up top! Not sure if you announced it officially... Perhaps I didn't get to that bloglovin' update yet ;) Anyway - totes going to H&M to get me some of those awesomely afforable cake stands!
ReplyDeleteYes! I did have us updated in the illustration- good eye! I just haven't made an announcement bc I don't want to draw (no pun intended) attention to my son's current mullet! My illustrator is working up some changes to his hair ;)
DeleteGlad you love the cake stands as much as I do!
